I've been putting most of my creativity toward commissions lately and needed to get back to basics. I missed drawing my babies. I consider these kinds of works my babies because they're completely birthed (quickly) out of a zen-like state. I'm not really thinking when they shoot out. Thinking is left to finishing touches. So basically, I feel closest to these drawings because they're like second nature.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. I didn't finish it that night... I ended up adding the arms/bottom dress/feathers a couple of days later at a park.
I'll be taking it to Kinko's and scanning it properly eventually.
I made something else while up there which will be posted soon... I have learned that canvases are fun and that NY is my new home.
